Pediatrics
He was born in 1952 in Burdur. He completed his primary education in Başpınar Village and his secondary and high school education as a boarding student at Burdur High School.
He began his medical studies at Ege University Faculty of Medicine in 1972 and graduated in 1978, earning his medical degree.
He began his career in 1978 as the first appointed physician at Bayat Health Centre in Afyon province, where he worked for two years.
In 1980, he completed his military service in Istanbul as a medical second lieutenant.
In 1982, he continued to work as a physician at Hacılar Health Centre in Kayseri for a further year and a half.
In 1982, he started his specialist training in Paediatrics at Erciyes University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Child Health and Diseases. After completing his five-year specialty training, he undertook his compulsory service at Diyarbakır State Hospital, where he served as Chief of the Paediatrics Clinic.
In 1989, he continued his career as a Paediatrics Specialist at Muğla State Hospital.
He retired in 2006, after which he worked for six months at a private hospital in Ereğli, Konya.
He has been working at Lokman Hekim Esnaf Hospital since March 2007.
